Ayat 20 QS. Al-Baqarah Ayat 20 يَكَادُ الۡبَرۡقُ يَخۡطَفُ اَبۡصَارَهُمۡ‌ؕ كُلَّمَاۤ اَضَآءَ لَهُمۡ مَّشَوۡا فِيۡهِ وَاِذَاۤ اَظۡلَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ قَامُوۡا‌ؕ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمۡعِهِمۡ وَاَبۡصَارِهِمۡ‌ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ Surah Taha 20:25-54 [2/8] (Surah An-Naziat, Ayat 24); (Surah Az-Zukhruf, Ayat 51); (Surah Al-Qasas, Ayat 38) and (Surah Ash-Shuara, Ayat 29). It may also be noted that by this claim Pharaoh did not mean to say that he was the sole deity of his people nor did it mean that none other was worshiped in Egypt. As a matter of fact, he himself Surat Ţāhā (Ta-Ha) - سورة طه. Ta, Ha. The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil.
